Cory's Football

My grandson, Cory Beck, went back to public school this year.  He signed up for football and made the Junior varsity team.  the coach told us that he didn't think he would make the grade because he had never played before.  He worked hard at it and learned the sport inside and out.  He is only a sophomore, so had time to work on it.  He is 6'3", a big boy, weighs in around 240.  He is playing offensive, #76.  We went to every game and watched him grow.  By the end of the year he was playing much better.  The head coach has now put him on the varsity team and told him to take weight training classes with the rest of the varsity.

He is also really interested in video, photography, etc.  He joined the Video Club. That adviser took him out and taught him to film the games, etc.  He told him that he had never had a jock with a brain. 

We are so proud of him.
